Perfect Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I truly enjoyed our week in this condo. The condo is located on a beautiful, well-maintained property with gorgeous views. One of the pools is just steps away, and the beach is a very short, beautiful walk. This property has amazingly kind staff and great security. We felt very safe and relaxed the entire time.

My husband LOVES to scuba dive, and easily arranged his pick-up on the dock right next door. He also enjoyed lots of snorkeling and saw amazing things right off the beach. I love to sit on the beach and enjoy a good book. It was perfect for both of our needs! With a short walk down the beach, you can find restaurants, shops and entertainment if you desire.

The condo itself is very well furnished and set up to make everything very easy. We enjoyed relaxing on the outdoor patio as well. Laundry room is easily accessible, yet private enough that you won't have to listen to it running. Amazing! The maid service was also excellent! We are looking to stay here again in the future! PERFECT getaway.

Only Regret Was Not Staying Longer

If you want to feel filthy rich but you aren't, book it now. The condo looks amazing and is clean, the premises look beautiful, and there is super friendly security at the entrance. We felt extremely safe. Communication with Barbara (the host) and check in was super easy, and we lacked nothing. The beach is a 1 minute walk away, and is practically deserted, so everytime we went there we had a front row palapas. Our only regret was not staying longer.

This Condo is Perfect!

This condo is perfect! It is fully equipped with everything you might need like pots and pans in the kitchen, toaster oven and coffee maker, beach towels and beach bags. The king size bed and pillows are very comfortable. Having a washer and dryer came in handy. The closeness to the beach and dock was also helpful as we took a tour to El Cielo and were picked up at the nearby dock. We felt safe with the security guards at the entrance. We are definitely going back to this property.

Super Clean and Very Peaceful

We’ve been coming to this condominium complex now for probably 15 years. It’s always well kept and does not seem to age. It’s super clean and very peaceful with loads of amenities on-site and nearby. We Really Had a Blast

Condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. But the bed? Wow. Best sleep I have had in a while! Nice view, friendly staff. Great beach. Couldn't ask for anything more. We’d Definitely Stay Here Again

We had an absolutely lovely time staying in this apartment. The beach was amazing, with loungers set up under umbrellas and a ton of beach towels to use.

The place was very large and had two Mini Split ACs which kept it very comfortable at all times. The kitchen was great and there was a filtered water dispenser with many gallons of fresh water tanks. The shower pressure was amazing as well.

Would definitely recommend renting a car or a scooter so that you can get to town easily as it's about a 20 minute drive, but doing so would also let you have fun exploring the South and East side of the island.

All in all, this place exceeded our expectations and we'd definitely stay here again next time we're in Cozumel.

Loved, Loved, Loved This Place!

Loved, loved, loved this place! Clean, beautiful view, private, loaded with amenities and very well located to access any of the island's south beaches. My toddler enjoyed the pool (which was literrally steps from the porch) and the sandy beach (which was less than 5 min walk on the property's path through a mangrove where we saw nature at its best). Highly recommend Casa Heywood!

Everything was perfect, couldn’t have asked for more! Thank you for sharing your home away from home with us! Space was large, the separate bathroom/shower was super convenient. Good Location, Great Beach

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was great! Good location, great beach access and security. There's an amazing taco stand just outside the complex, Dona Chely where we went almost every day. Condo itself was clean, had everything we needed, plenty of space for two people and nice patio looking at the pool. Barbara is super helpful as well!

Great Place to Stay in Cozumel

Residenicias Reef - loved our stay. Owner Barbara is great, she will respond quickly if you need anything or have questions.

The property has clean heated pools, grounds are well maintained and close to town and several beach clubs. Condo is few feet from pools and a few feet from beach.

This one bedroom is very large, spacious patio, comfy bed.

We had a relaxing time staying here - good choice!

We Wouldn't Stay Anywhere Else in Cozumel

This gated community has a 24 hour security staff controlling access. We enjoyed having a ground floor unit making it easy to get to the pools, beach, and car quickly. This is a one bedroom, 1 1/2 bath with access to the bathroom from either the living room or bedroom. Very comfortable king sized bed with room darkening curtains that facilitate napping or sleeping in. Close to the second pool which would be good for people travelling with children but still very quiet in the condo. Only a couple of minutes walk to the primary infinity pool and white-sand beach. This condo is stocked with cookware (including nonstick pans), a few spices, beach towels, coolers, basic beach toys, washer/dryer, bottled water, hair dryer, full sized appliances, and more.

We recommend a car for sight seeing, grocery shopping, and dinner since it is a few miles from town. You can take a taxi to the condo too. Bring river shoes if getting in the ocean since it is rocky once you leave the beach.

We rent our car from Rentadora Isis Cozumel because if you rent from the airport, you will be required to overpay for insurance. You will need to make arrangements or take a taxi to their office since they are not allowed to pick up from the airport. A little planning goes a long way.

Didn’t Want to Leave!

Mid-way through our Yucatan journey, we were lucky enough to find Barbara's Airbnb listing, and honestly didn't want to leave! It's in an absolutely fantastic location, steps from the ocean, and close to some nearby resorts and beaches. Barbara and her husband were so accommodating and helpful, we were delighted to have met them. We cannot wait to stay again!!

If you want to stay in a private, beautiful, safe, and relaxing location in Cozumel without the hustle and bustle of a hotel PLEASE stay at this condo!! What a Lovely Property

What a lovely property. The condo was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We used both pools with one pool being practically right off the patio. Lots of flowers, birds and iguanas. Tried snorkeling but the wind was bad and everything was stirred up during our stay. Water entry requires footwear. We ate at the little taco stand and also at Money Bar several times. Great coconut shrimp. Will definitely stay again

A comfortable and stylish condo with a lot of amenities. No need to bring any cleaning products, soap, detergent, etc. This was all provided, as well as condiments such as oil, mayo, ketchup... which was a very thoughtful touch.

Thanks for a Great Vacation!

Having vacationed in Cozumel since 1985, this was one of the best trips we’ve ever had there. Much of that was due to Barbara and Geo and their wonderful Residencias Reef condo.

We’ve stayed in many places in Cozumel over the years: condos in North Cozumel, condos in the South Cozumel (including another Residencias Reef condo), several all-inclusive resorts, and hotels in many locations on the island. This condo has many advantages over most all of the other places we’ve stayed.

The first and most important advantage is the owners. Barbara and Geo couldn’t have been more helpful and responsive to any request, big or small.

Other advantages include:

• Storage - The closet and furniture storage in the condo was generous with the owners only taking a very small amount for the condo’s cleaning items. They took no space for their personal items, leaving plenty of storage for us.
• Space - The extra ½ bath and vanity gave us room for spreading out. Also, the patio was not only larger than most, it was also well-furnished so we could enjoy using it.
• Location - The first floor location made access to the pool and beach easy and the view of the pool and grounds was lovely. It’s also a great location for scuba-boat pick up…..just far enough south that your ride to the reefs gives you time to don your gear, tell a quick lie or two to other divers on the boat, and hit the water.
• Toys – the many pool and beach toys saved us the expense of buying our own. The bikes would have been fun to use if we’d had time. (Note- suggest you pick up or bring your own helmet if you intend to bike. Since owners couldn’t know a person’s head size nor whether a helmet has been damaged, we wouldn’t expect them to have these on hand.)
• Facilities/utilities – The washer and dryer were in excellent condition and enabled us to pack lighter than we could have otherwise. The air conditioners worked well and cooled off our rooms quickly.
• Electronics – 2 nice flat screen TV’s worked well and allowed us to watch different programs when we wanted. The wifi was very reliable.

Nice Beachfront Apartment Complex

Located Exactly Where the Fun Places Are

I need more stars to rate barbaras place, My wife and 2 kids loved it, so do I.

It's located exactly where the fun places are, If you hire any excursion to a park or boat trip, they will pass right in front of Residential Reef, so save time and stay here.

Quiet place, extra clean inside and outside, lots of extras for your stay, you wont regret. Hostess always available, just pick the phone and ask for tips.

Great Condo, Great Experience

First, the property is exactly as Barbara has described and pictured. The bedroom is very spacious, even with a futon in it and dresser, and has its own walk out to the deck. The living space is spacious as well and includes a nice sized table for family dinners. The kitchen was completely furnished with every utensil you could possible want. Overall, extremely clean, well maintained and updated. Originally we wondered if this condo would be too far back from the beach, but as it turned out, it offered a great view and its location provided really nice privacy, since residents are not constantly walking by the unit. The unit had a nice sized TV and DISH TV which was a nice plus. We met several other longer term residents and repeat visitors from other units, and all were very friendly.

Second, the property is extremely safe, with staff continually walking rounds.

Third, the pools and beach area were extremely well maintained. To swim, you have to walk over a slightly rocky patch, but then pocket of sand again open up, and the depth increases to swimmable heights. The great news with the underwater terrain is that it offers fun snorkeling. Starfish, conch shells, etc, and unbelievable water clarity. Other beaches within walking distance offer more snorkeling and swimming opportunities.

Fourth, Cozumel overall was perfect for us, and we will be returning. Lots to explore. We loved the east side of the island...bigger waves, all public beach, big sand, and some fun restaurants. Definitely worth the drive. We explored shopping downtown both on the main road where the cruise ships come in, and off the beaten path. Several grocery stores to choose from, and we tried them all-MEGA, Sam's Club, a store attached to Sam's, and Super Aki.

Lastly, our host Barbara, was extremely pleasant to work with. She provided perfect upfront instructions, a little advice when asked, and was very responsive during our stay. We checked in with her as a courtesy, and it was nice knowing she was always just a text way.

All the Conveniences!

Casa Heywood exceeded our expectations. Barbara's attentiveness and attention to detail even before we arrived was great. When we pulled into Residenciales we had all the paperwork and information we needed to get us settled and comfortable in our apartment. Staff all friendly. Grounds are gorgeous and kept immaculately groomed. Pools delightful. Ocean steps away, and a quiet, unobstructed view of the Carribean Sea with lounge chairs and several palapas to rest under. Barbara's apartment provided losts of extras, like beach towels, snorkel equipment, umbrella, pool toys, pure water and a dispenser which we truly appreciated! All the conveniences! Even a yoga mat! It was truly like a little paradise. We look forward to returning.

Had Everything We Needed During Our Stay

The condo was completely furnished and had everything we needed during our stay. We spent many hours on the terrace watching the pool activity and the iguanas! Really Enjoyed Our Stay at Casa Heywood Cozumel

Casa Heywood Cozumel is even more than what we expected. Beautifully decorated in and out, great atmosphere and Mrs Barbara is extremely friendly and helpful, she managed to please us with a smile on her face. The Balcony is Amazing

This condo is amazing. The view as you drive up is breathtaking and the condo is very spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The balcony is amazing. We had snacks out there all the time and at night It's a very quiet and relaxing place to spend some time after a full day at the beach. We loved that we were away from town but still close enough to go to the store if we needed anything. Barbara was amazing and very helpful as well as all the staff at the condo. Fantastic Apartment

Fantastic apartment. The apartment itself is very large and very well equipped, it also has a magnificent terrace. The development has 2 pools, one of them large. The development's beach is perfect for snorkeling. We would definitely repeat!

Great Size and the Balcony Is Amazing

A great condo with Everything you need for making food at home or go for a bike ride or just stay at one of the 2 pools or walk to the beach 🏖 in one minute.

The owners are great and help with everything you may need at your stay.

It’s clean and a great size and the balcony is amazing- the condo lies in the back so you don’t get sun in all day so the condo doesn’t get to warm.

What A Wonderful Piece of Heaven

We love this place since it has everything for us. Being divers that appreciate being on the S side of the island I don't think you can ask for more. Quiet comfort surrounds you. Pack light W/D works great. We have been coming to RR since 2002 and wont stay anywhere else on the island and 7110 is our home away from home when we can get there.

Great Condo!

The condo was perfect. Very spacious, great view, perfectly equipped kitchen and huge bathroom. Would definitely stay here again. The property is well maintained and the pools were great and the beach was perfect. The condo is well stocked and has a blender and 2 coolers and beach towels and lots of pool toys. There were lots of chairs and lots of shade or sun depending upon what you want. The dock next door was perfect for the dive company to pick me up every am. The security gate called for taxis when we need them and they were there in minutes. We walked over to Carlos & Charlies several days for drinks and lunch. Only comment was just be advised that this property is away from town so if you don;t rent a car is is a 14 to 15 dollar cab ride one way into town. Mega grocery store was well stocked and very cheap we just didn't want to cook while we were there but if we had everything we needed was in the kitchen. Also besides Carlos and Charlie's not much else around to go to and Carlos and Charlie's closes at 5pm. The property on the other side is an all inclusive.

The magic jack was a nice touch and we were able to keep in touch with family. Also the wi-fi was fine, not to fast but served our purposes. The king bed was very comfortable and the air conditioners worked great. The lanai is quite spacious and the lounge chairs are very comfortable.

We will definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing with us.

Great Sunsets, Especially From The Pool

Casa Heywood is wonderful. We spent many relaxing hours on the patio watching the ocean and reading our kindles. The bed was super comfortable. Almost anything you might need is here, coolers, blow up toys, some spices, paper towels, even a first aid kit. We appreciated that people left behind things like sunscreen, bug spray, salt and pepper, etc and that they had not been disposed of. The unit is very large and spacious for the 2 of us. Absolutely Wonderful Unit at RR

We have been staying at RR for about 15 years. This was our first time in Bld 3 and we love the layout. Everything was as advertised. The owners make everything very easy. Easy access to the pool or beach. We are divers so it is a short walk to the pier for pick up. Wifi is a breeze. 8 wonderful nights and we hope to get back in May. We highly recommend this unit as the owners have really thought of everything. Pack light as the W/D works great. The patio facing the pool/beach for sunsets or morning coffee is fabulous. The blender works very well. You cannot go wrong with 7110. We will be back.

More Than What You See in the Photos

More than what you see in the photos. The apartment is fully equipped with more than you can expect. The kitchen has everything and there is also additional entertainment equipment for the beach and to be at home. Barbara has everything so well organized that it is easy to get in and just enjoy. She was also very kind every step of the way even before we walked in. There are two pools in the condos and it is walking distance to a beautiful private beach. Immerse yourself in the sea and you will see beautiful fish as well as corals. I would definitely come back and recommend the apartment and Barbara definitely.

Perfection!

My husband and I rented this condo for four days in August and had an awesome time! We had piece of mind staying in the gated complex and loved the private beach (especially after we took a walk to "Paradise Beach" and the other resorts to the south, which were very crowded). The grounds were well maintained and very quiet. There is a pool right outside the veranda, which never had more than four people at a time. We really liked being on the first floor, so we could walk right out to either pool or the beach. The condo is well stocked with towels, beach towels, snorkel equipment and coolers (a must for margaritas on the beach at sunset!). And, the storage room is great for a quick load of laundry or use of the two mountain bikes. The flat screen TV was nicer than ours at home and had all the channels we needed. The two A/C units were very efficient and it was actually chilly in the unit when we arrived (a rarity in Mexico)! The king size bed was very comfy and we liked the separation of the bathrooms - one with the shower/sink combo and the other with toilet/sink. The owner, Barbara, was very helpful with info on grocery stores, restaurants, car rental, etc and available via text when I had questions during our stay. Overall, we had a perfect stay and hated to leave! I highly recommend this condo and the Residencias Reef complex - it was perfection!

All the Facilities One Wants

Its location, even though it is far from downtown, is in a very private and beautiful place. Nothing noisy. They have all the facilities one wants to have: Pool, beach a few feet away, TV, internet, dish, air conditioning, playstation, towels to take to the pool or beach, a couple of bicycles, a full kitchenette, simply everything to enjoy a beautiful and relaxed vacation.

Our Stay Was Great

Place is great. Actually is bigger than what the pictures show and can easily accommodate a family of 4.

Beach is really close by walk and quiet to relax and enjoy snorkeling with the kids ( close the hotel pier best place ). I do recommend to bring water shoes as beach is rocky to get in water (most of Cozumel beaches are like that) and your own snorkeling equipment. We rent a car for the whole week and enjoyed several tours around the island. Also a must if you wanna go out for dinner (no close restaurants). An alternative solution is an App for food delivery (Fasty delivery) with many options or just prepare your own food as kitchen is complete as well.
